Fay + Craig // St. Peter’s Church, Bromyard & Lemore Manor, Eardisley, Hereford

Why do you want a Cinematic Wedding Videographer?

We want to capture our wedding so we have a real-life feeling every-time we watch our video back. We feel it is the best way to remember our wedding day and as we have been told many times, the day will go so quick it will be lovely to watch back over it.

Why did you pick Story Cabin Wedding Films?

When we watched your videos we knew straight away that Story Cabin was for us. I have a feeling in my heart watching one of your videos and my eyes filled up, I knew I had to use you.

Why we booked you for our Cinematic Wedding Film in Eardisley…

You guys? ...What do you do?..How do you spend your days?..What's important in life?

Fay - I'm a Field Sales Consultant selling German machinery.

Craig - Quality engineering/welding inspector.

We both work extremely hard, Craig commutes 1.5 hours to work each way every day and I work all over the West midlands so our days are long. We very much look forward to the weekend to see each other and spend time at home. We love chilling and enjoying our home, we love a project and we are always making improvements to our home. I love gardening and Craig loves playing in his garage. We are also both car fanatics. So sometimes on the weekends we go to car shows. We are extremely close with our parents and see them 2-3 times a week, family is very important to us. We have a great social life and every couple of weeks we go out for a beer with our friends or for some food. We love travelling and save hard to go to new exciting places every other year. We plan to climb the ladder in our career and have a family in the future... but first we will get a dog :)

The proposal? ...Tell us everything!

26th August 2017 - we often go to London once a year for the weekend, we have always done it. We planned most of it together, we always try to see or do something new every time we go. But we often eat at our favourite steak house in Convent Garden.
In previous years we had been to The Shard for cocktails. When we arrived in London on the 26th Aug Craig told me he had booked us tickets to go to the new open air viewing platform at the top of The Shard to watch the sunset that evening. I was excited! It was a VERY hot day, but Craig told me he was going to carry his jacket around with him just in case it dropped off chilly, I was a little surprised but as he was going to carry his jacket I thought I should take a cardigan too!
We got to The Shard and it was like airport security - Craigs temper changed, he was really stressed having to empty all his pockets... I didn't think anything of it and went infront of him as he was faffing around.
We arrived at the top of The Shard and the new viewing platform was heaving, as it was so new it was extremely busy! Poor Craig's face dropped. After seeing the sunset we sat down and had a couple of cocktails, within a couple of hours the place had died down and only a handful of people were remaining.
As we went to have one last look over London Bridge all lit up, Craig took my hand and go down on one knee. I almost choked, he said "Fay, you know how much I love you, Will you marry me?"
My first response was "Are you sure??" Hahaha - totally overwhelmed. I then said yes.

It was absolutely amazing - we were both so happy. 20 mins later we face timed our parents from the top of The Shard.

Best day ever so far

More about our Wedding Videography in Eardisley…

The Venue/s? ... Why this place above anywhere else?

Church - St Peters (Fay) My childhood church, my parents and grandparents go married here. Craig & I went to the same school and we would do our carol services, plays etc here as well as it being my church so it's always been hard of our lives.

Lemore Manor - We stepped foot at this venue and it took our breath away, the elegant, clean, fresh, simplisitc look is what we were looking for and it ticked all the boxes for us. We didn't want anything rustic, shabby sheek, no bunting and wood insight.

What experience do you want to give to your guests?

We want our guests to be "wowed' - We want our guests to feel as involved in our day as possible, every guest invited is there because they have an important factor in our lives.
